Introducing Our Team
Steve Gisanrin (Snr.) - President / CEO

Steve has over 16 years of operating experience at the senior management and board level with start-ups, private and public companies. Prior to forming YESHandyman Building Services Limited, Steve worked as a project manager with many general builders. He paid close attention to the way a business was run and how the clients were serviced. It became clear to him that the typical practices were unacceptable with sub-contractors performing sub-par jobs rarely completed on schedule or on budget. These realizations led to the creation of YEShandyman^® on September 25, 2005 and our ultimate goal: to break the stereotypical perception of how general contractors do business by turning an industry notorious for poor service into a service business and our ultimate goal: to break the stereotypical perception of how general contractors do business by turning an industry notorious for poor service into a service business. He is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs, an active group providing support for entrepreneurs.

People often ask me what our biggest challenge is. The funny thing is, the answer's really easy: hiring! It's incredibly difficult for us to find incredible people to join our general building and property maintenance team (on that note, check out our available local operative positions here!). So why does it matter that it's really tough to find good designers, great multi-skilled handy people and builders excellent in all aspect of building renovation including customer satisfaction to join yes handyman as local operatives? The firm relies heavily on his CPA expertise to maintain fiscal responsibility.
